Striped red/green fruit is still found growing at the abbey in St. Dogmaels near Carmarthen. It has been written that the Monks of St. Dogmaels had to be admonished by the Bishop of St. David’s for their drunkenness, presumable from drinking too much cider! (Pollination group B)
