Approximate height after 10 years: M9 – 2m; M26 – 3m; MM106 – 3.5m; MM111 – 4.5m; M25 – 5-6m.
A well-spurred tree with good disease resistance and a moderately good cropper. Originated as a seedling from Baltonsborough, near Glastonbury in 1940.
A useful late-season sweet cider variety is good for blending with other varieties to provide tannin. Harvest in late November.
Single variety cider is light and fruity.
